ABOUT US

SubTropolis Technology Center (STC) is owned by Hunt Midwest, a 75+ year old privately-held company owned by the Lamar Hunt family – owners of the Kansas City Chiefs. Hunt Midwest purchased hundreds of acres of land in Kansas City and has developed and leased SubTropolis, the world’s largest underground business complex, since the 1960s. SubTropolis has grown toover six million square feet of space (with 8 million more available for development) and is home to more than 60 commercial enterprise companies.

By digging and chipping away solid limestone, Hunt Midwest created STC, one of the nation's most secure data center facilities.

STC can provide Time-to-Market data centers ranging in size from 5,000 - 20,000 SF modules. STC has millions of square feet available for IT and raised floor area. Click here to download our site plan.
